Surprise connection turns artists into fair companions
It was the beginning of a beautiful friendship. Today, Bllindt, 49, and Siegan, 60, visit each others’ homes and studios frequently, acting as cheerleaders and sounding boards for each others’ work. Sometimes they share materials; other times, they rap about their enthusiasms and influences (Robert Motherwell and Gerhard Richter for Blindt, Joan Miro and Jackson Pollock for Siegan).
